Shamrock Necklace with Connemara Marble and Lava
The shamrock was originally associated with the Celtic goddess Ana or Anu with the three leaves representing her status as the maiden, mother and crone of Ireland.
The number three was associated with different meanings including:
- Three divisions of the soul (mind, body and spirit)
- Three realms we inhabit (land, sea and sky)
- Love, Wisdom and Truth
- Nature, Knowledge and Truth
Celtic society was organized around the sacred three, with three classes, three colors, and three principal gods.
Connemara Marble is a healing gem for the heart and emotions. It is a wonderful stone for anxiety, self control, and stability. The "national gemstone" of Ireland. An ancient stone that's found mostly on the island's west coast.
Connemara marble was formed from sediment deposited in a shallow primal sea over 600 million years ago. These sediments were transformed by formidable forces generated in the formation of the mountains of the West of Ireland and Scotland over 390 million years ago.
The beautiful bands of rich to pale green within the marble are formed by tiny crystals of green serpentine, diopside, chlorite, and creamy white calcite, and dolomite.
Lava is a wonderful grounding and is used to diffuse essential oils.
